Claims Process

If your vehicle has broken down we at Dealer Care Warranties do not wish to add to the inconvenience so please contact us on 0800 970 8559 in the first instance where a member of our Customer Services will give help and guidance.

The garage must then call Dealer Care Warranties Claims on our free phone number or they can email us on claims@dealercarewarranties.co.uk to discuss the repairs prior to commencing the work. We do reserve the right to inspect the vehicle and / or the failed part(s) and also to nominate the repairing garage.

Once Dealer Care Warranties Claims have given the authorisation for the repairs to be completed by issuing a specific authorisation number for your particular claim, your garage may email or fax us the repair invoice detailing their work and our claims authorisation number. Providing the email/fax contains the correct details we will contact your repairing garage and pay them immediately over the telephone using our dedicated Dealer Care Warranties Claims Department debit card to save you having to pay their invoice. The original invoice must then follow in the post.

Dealer Care Warranties gives you and your garage a free phone number to call in the event of a claim.

Dealer Care Warranties can pay your claim for you, over the phone to your repairing garage (subject to the garage accepting card payments).
